Chicken Burger Recipe

Ingredients for preparing Chicken Burger

  •  Chicken: cooked and minced  -  ½ kg
  •  Maida  -  1 cup
  •  Salt to taste  -  ½  tsp
  •  Bun   -  10  nos.
  •  Cheese slice  -  1 packet
  •  Onion: finely chopped  -  1 no.
  •  Red Chilli Powder  -  1 tsp
  •  Coriander Power  -  1 tsp
  •  Green Chillie Paste  -   2 tsp
  •  Ginger-Garlic paste   -  2 tsp
  •  Garam Masala  -  ½  tsp
  •  Cumin Seeds  Powder  -  ½  tsp
  •  Coriander Leaves: chopped  -  2 tbsp
  •  Bread Crumbs  -  1 cup
  •  Butter  -  ½  cup
  •  Egg: beaten  -  1 no.
  •  Tomato:  sliced into rings  -   3 nos.
  •  Cucumber: sliced  -  1 no.
  •  Onion: sliced into rings  -  2 nos.
  •  Cheese slice  -  1 packet
  •  Oil for frying  – 1 cup

Steps for preparing Chicken Burger

  1.  Mix maida with salt and little water and make loose batter.
  2.  Mix cooked minced chicken with bread crumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin seeds powder, green chilli paste and ginger-garlic paste.
  3.  Mix well and make medium sized balls out of the mixture. Flatten each balls and form round patties. Dip each patty in maida batter, coat with fine bread crumbs and deep fry till golden colour on both sides.
  4.  To assemble the burger first cut the bun into two equal halves, Toast it by applying some butter. Spread some butter on the top and bottom half of the bun. Layer with onion, tomato and cucumber slices followed by fried chicken patty and cheese spread. Finally top it with the other half of bread.
  5.  Repeat the steps with the remaining mixture and buns.
  6.  Serve hot with tomato sauce.
