Cashew ChickenIngredients for preparing Cashew Chicken

  • Chicken  -   ½  Kg
  • Cashew Nuts  -   25  g
  • Onion : finely chopped  -   3  nos.
  • Tomato: chopped  -  1  no.
  • Ginger: Crushed  -  2 tbsp
  • Garlic Crushed  -  2 tbsp
  • Green Chillies: cut in to strips  -  4  no.
  • Chilli Powder  -   2    tsp
  • Coriander Powder  -   1  tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder  -   ½   tsp
  • Curry Leaves   -  2  stalks
  • Coriander Leaves  -   2  stalks
  • Oil  -   3  tbsp
  • Salt to taste  -   ½  tsp

Steps for preparing Cashew Chicken

  1. Cook chicken pieces by adding chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Fry the cooked chicken pieces. In the remaining oil, saute chopped onion, crushed ginger, crushed garlic, chopped tomato and green chillies.
  3. Then add Chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and stir well. Cook till the gravy is thick.
  4. Add cashew nut paste into the gravy and bring to boil. Add fried chicken pieces, stir well till the chicken pieces are coated with gravy. Again boil it. The chicken curry is ready.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with best combination.
